Some dogs naturally learn slow. RCF didn’t fully understand how Twitter worked. He happily informed me he was following lots of people. He looked forward to his first tweet ‘that would resound like the shot heard round the world’.  I hated to burst his bubble, but when I pointed out that shot was only heard by his single follower, he looked a little down. Sometimes, he just gets lucky. His single follower compassionately MENTIONED him in their tweet and effectively got his message out to at least a tiny (but substantially broader) portion of the virtual world. Now, I think he is beginning to understand the ‘pay it back’ theme he had told me about in some of the tweets.
